In Communication Studies, you will learn about communication practices and processes, contexts in which communication occurs, and the theories and research that faculty and other leaders in the fields use to understand communication in all its varieties. Students become more discriminating world citizens, because Communication Studies provides them with the tools they need to navigate a complex world with frameworks for understanding organizational structures, power dynamics, and cultural differences. 

Graduates hold exciting jobs in corporate communications, non-profit organizations, social media marketing, media organizations, schools and universities, marketing and PR firms, event planning, fundraising and philanthropy, and political organizations/think tanks, while others go on to earn advanced degrees.
