Get to Know Jane

I hold a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and a Tanzanian elementary school teaching certificate. In 2022, I participated in the Fulbright exchange program as a foreign language teaching assistant at Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio. During my time there, I taught culture classes and the Swahili language. I am currently pursuing a master's degree in teaching and Learning Multilingual Education. In the 2023-2024 academic year, I worked as a TA in the College of Education, where I taught Teaching and Learning Technologies Course EDTL 3002:0001. I am a TA in the Communication Department, teaching Political Communication: COMM: 2044: 0001. My research interests are educational language policy and technology in second language acquisition.
