Get to Know Celeste
Celeste Howington is a Carroll Arnold Fellow and first year PhD student in the Media, History, and Culture track of Communication Studies. Her research focuses on how queer audiences understand their community and identity through film and television genres such as horror and animation. She specifically researches how queer audiences can articulate their identity and desire through generic styles, tropes, and categories.
